CG Motors, the authorized distributor of Riddara under Geely Holding Group, has introduced the Riddara RD6 ECON 4x4 in Nepal at an introductory price of NPR 71,99,000.
The RD6 lineup was first showcased at the NADA Auto Show nearly two years ago and has since become one of the early entrants in Nepal’s electric pick-up space. With the launch of the ECON 4x4 variant, the model range now includes an additional all-wheel-drive configuration positioned below the existing variants.
The RD6 ECON 4x4 is equipped with a dual-motor setup, producing a combined output of 280 kW and 485 Nm of torque. Independent motors on both axles enable all-wheel-drive functionality, while the vehicle offers multiple drive and terrain-specific modes.
In terms of utility, the pick-up offers a payload capacity of 1,235 kg and a ground clearance of 225 mm. Dimensionally, it measures 5260 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1880 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3120 mm, placing it in the mid-to-large pickup category.
Powering the vehicle is a 73 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 390 km (NEDC). The RD6 ECON 4x4 has a stated top speed of 160 km/h.

On the technical side, the battery system includes IP68-rated protection for resistance against water and dust ingress, along with multiple battery management and safety systems designed to regulate performance and thermal stability.
In Nepal, the standard RD6 lineup is already on sale, providing context for where the ECON variant is positioned. The pick-up is currently available in three 4WD variants priced at Rs. 79.99 lakh, Rs. 81.99 lakh, and Rs. 82.99 lakh, while a 2WD version is offered at Rs. 66.99 lakh.

With the addition of the ECON 4x4 variant, the RD6 lineup expands its overall range and pricing spread, contributing to the gradual development of the electric pick-up segment in Nepal.
